The people have chosen their favorites for the 40th People's Choice Awards, January 8 in Los Angeles, California.

The hosts for the awards show are 'Two Broke Girls' Kat Dennings & Beth Behrs. The two doubled as comedians all throughout the show - especially Beth who gave the crowd a taste of her 'The Sound of Music-Wrecking Ball-Baby Got Back' performance.

Lots of stars grazed the awards show, from music artists to actors and actresses. And apart from receiving awards, a few musicians gave stellar performances to fuel the night.

Sara Bareilles took the stage with 'Brave', which was sung with an 'altered arrangement.' One Republic performed 'Counting Stars' while Heidi Klum had a blast snagging Brad Paisley's cowboy hat during his turn to hit the stage.
