Struggling former Disney star Lindsay is about to reveal her whole life story to avid viewers of OWN. The controversial star has been confirmed to star in her very own reality show.

"OWN will air an exclusive interview with Oprah and Lindsay Lohan that will tape and air in August and an eight-part documentary series with Lindsay for 2014," says OWN's spokesperson.

Lindsay's self-titled reality show will reportedly debut on March 9 according to Deadline. The show will consist of eight parts and will follow the actress' life after being released from the Cliffside Malibu rehab center.

"'Lindsay' follows movie star and media sensation Lindsay Lohan on her journey through recovery following a very public period of crisis.

Having had her career and personal life sidelined by her public struggles, Lindsay is strikingly candid about her life and is more determined than ever to get back on her feet. In this honest, no-holds-barred account, viewers will see an intimate, unflinching look into the life of one of the world's most sought-after celebrities," the statement read.

Although the Oprah Winfrey Network has already set a date for the eight-part documentary series debut, a report from NY Daily News says that the production for the reality show had considerable difficulties working with the star.

The 27-year old reportedly pushed producers to "raise concerns that the show won't be completed on schedule."

"She never does what she says she is going to do. She cancels all the time and is highly erratic," the report read.

"It has been frustrating to work on this project from the start. It's all about Lindsay and it is clear she has no respect for the crew," NY Daily News' source added.

'Lindsay' seems to be the actress' major comeback to the entertainment industry after turning down unscripted project offers for years, says Entertainment Weekly.
