For Season 2 of "Outlander," the cast has been emerging quite rapidly in the past few days.

Fans are already aware that Season 2 will follow the second book of the Diana Gabaldon series, "Dragonfly in Amber." Those who follow the book series know who to look for in this upcoming season. The first left off with a journey to France, and the second seaon will pick up from there.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Season 2 will have Claire and Jamie in Paris in an effort to stop the Jacobite Rebellion.Their efforts will be assisted by Jamie's cousin, a mysterious healer and a young Englishwoman named Mary Hawkins.

This young Englishwoman will be portrayed in the highly anticipated second season by Rosie Day. Hawkins is the daughter of a minor baronet who is engaged to a member of French nobility. She is also Silas' niece.

Hawkins will likely be pursuing her own path after leaning for certain that she is nothing more than a pawn for elders to use against each other. Her pursuit to join Claire and Jamie will also likely be influenced by her desire to set herself apart from the humiliating ordeal she's learned of, which might mean that she will use her "pawn" status as a means to further Clair and Jamie's agenda.

Prince Charles Edward Stewart has also been cast and will be portrayed by Andrew Gower ("Being Human"), according to CarterMatt. He is part of a Catholic family and the young heir to their fortune. He has royal aspirations and hopes to soon return to the throne.

Also, the character known as Fergus who develops a bond with both Jamie and Claire will be portrayed by Romann Berrux. His own star power is only virtually unknown, but after a role on this hit Starz show, he will be likely highly cited in the future.
