"Outlander" season 3 will begin their battle of Culloden between Jacobite highlanders and the British government forces in the year 1746. The story goes right after Caitriona Balfe as Clair returns to the 18th century to find the stunning Highland warrior Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser.
"Outlander," the hit time travel romance based on a series of the speculative novels by Diana Gabaldon, has just been nominated for a fistfull of Golden Globes.

Fans of“Outlander” who cannot bear to wait until the 2016 to see more of their favorite time traveling characters can take heart in the knowledge that a new season 1 DVD/Blu-ray officially arrives next week.
On the Sept. 5, the Highland Folk Museum in Newtonmore – an open-air museum, which served as the location for several scenes of the Starz series -- will hold its first day dedicated to both the show and the novels that inspired it.
“Outlander,” a time travel fantasy which was just given Entertainment Weekly’s award for Best Drama of 2015, has garnering some very interesting praise from Vanity Fair’s Richard Lawson, who called the show “the oddest, hardest-to-pin-down series currently airing.
When season 2 of the Starz time travel hit “Outlander” airs in 2016, the characters will find themselves in 18th century Paris, busy trying to change world events by ingratiating themselves into Louis XV’s court.
