Lil Wayne is currently gearing up to release his long-awaited "Free Weezy Album" next month.

In support of his most recent "Sorry 4 the Wait 2" mixtape, the New Orleans emcee has been touring different nightclubs.

Following his performance of "We Be Steady Mobbin" at the Heat Ultra Lounge OC in Anaheim, California, on June 16, Wayne took a moment to make a special announcement about the upcoming album. The rapper revealed "FWA" will be arriving on Independence Day.

"I have a new album coming out, it's called, 'FWA,'" he said, "It'll be out Fourth of July."

The latest announcement follows the "Selsun Blue" rapper teasing the follow-up to 2013's "I Am Not A Human Being 2" in April. While taking the stage in Jacksonville, Florida, he reassured fans that both "Free Weezy Album" and "Tha Carter V" are both coming soon.

While he is still dealing with his $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money Records and the uncertainty of "Tha Carter" series' fifth installment, Weezy has reportedly signed with a royalties collection company, Kobalt Neighbouring Rights.

The "Believe Me" hitmaker hints at his ongoing feud with longtime label and its CEO Birdman in his featured verse on A$AP Rocky's "M'$," in which he raps, "I love my BM's, I love my YM, ain't no more CM."

AllHipHop recently reported that with the involvement of the London-based firm services, Wayne wants to win back what he believes is owed to him, including unpaid royalties and record advances by Cash Money.

According to Kobalt's website, the company uses a "powerful tracking system" to "ensure all income is correctly accounted" for their clients and develop "detailed expectations from third party performance data, Territory expectations from Kobalt's pre-distribution health check, as well as from the client's income data."

Kobalt's current clients include Busta Rhymes, Kid Cudi, Noah "40" Shebib, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Sam Smith and Calvin Harris among more than 8,000 artists and songwriters and 500 publishing companies.
