In recent years, wrestling as we know it has become a spectator sport, one that is more showmanship than actual sport, but there still is a lot of sportsmanship behind the actual sport... even if it doesn't look like it!

Here, then are some interesting and fun facts about everyone's favorite sport. Did you know, for example...

The Undertaker is one of the most successful Wrestlemania acts of all time. That's correct -- with 21 wins, consecutive and general, The Undertaker has won more Wrestlemania events than any other wrestler.

Sometimes wrestling translates to real life. We know that a lot of the sport, today, is done for ratings and show... but sometimes life imitates art, which imitates life. Did you know, for example, that after The Rock made a joke about John Cena kissing Eve on "WWE Raw," Cena's wife filed for divorce?

Most of the McMahon family has held a wrestling title. Tell me that isn't depressing news about the sport! The only McMahon to not hold a championship title is... Linda McMahon.

25 of WWE's Top 250 Wrestlers are Dead. Sad, but true. That means 10 percent of the best are no longer with us. The list of the dearly departed: Chris Benoit, Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Eddie Guerrero, Test, The Big Bossman, Randy Savage, Hawk, Yokozuna, Umaga, Brian Adams, Earthquake, Hercules Hernandez, Bam Bam Bigelow, Curt Hennig, Crash Holly, Lance Cade, Andre the Giant, Dino Bravo, Rick Rude, Bad News Brown, Junk Yard Dog, Luna Vachon, Chris Candido and Kerry Von Erich. Even worse: of that list, only ONE of those wrestlers lived past the age of 60 (Bad News Brown). And even worse still: only ONE of the rest of those wrestlers lived past the age of 50 (Randy Savage, who still -- disgustingly -- isn't in the Wrestling Hall of Fame).

Jake "The Snake" Roberts is legendary... but a loser. Yes... unfortunately, Jake 'The Snake' Roberts has never held a title throughout his entire career. Still, he can look forward to being inducted into the Wrestling Hall of Fame... when he gets clean.

Dusty Rhodes is one of the greats... his grandson, not so much. Dusty Rhodes is one of the greatest wrestling stars of all time. Unfortunately, greatness doesn't run in the family -- his grandson, Dustin Rhodes, has had nine different runs with three different wrestling companies (five alone with the WWE). Going by the name of "Goldust," he's unfortunately got all the flash but none of the dash of his legendary grandfather -- he's irresponsible & notoriously unreliable.

It's Still A Man's World. Even despite the strides that many of the women in the sport have made, only two women's wrestling events have ever main-evented at WWE Raw. And as for Wrestlemania... never. A main event featuring a women's match? You're kidding, right?

WWE Is Getting Older. BleacherReport.com put it best: "Not one single wrestler on the most recent SummerSlam card was under 30. Compare that to SummerSlam 1998, which had 12 wrestlers under that age."

The Best Teams Are Dying, or Dead. Yikes. First, we'll start with The Hart Foundation's five members. Of the five, three are dead: Owen Hart, The British Bulldog and Brian Pillman. Bret Hart suffered a stroke in 2002, and Jim Neidhart was arrested for burglary and contempt of court. Then there's the Radicalz -- the greatest Latino team to ever hit the WWE -- which was comprised of Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn. BleacherReport.com writes: "Immediately upon their debut, they were booked as a big deal. The fun times didn't last too long, though. While Benoit and Guerrero eventually became world champions, Malenko retired early and Saturn fell in love with a mop. Then real life tragedies began to strike. At the age of 38, Guerrero died in a Minneapolis hotel room. At the age of 40, Benoit murdered his wife and son before killing himself. At the age of 38, Saturn was shot twice while beating up two guys who were raping a woman. At the age of 50, Malenko suffered a heart attack (though he was able to return to work within days)."

There are only three notable legacies. Yes, for all of the legendary wrestlers, only three of them are from legacies: The Rock, Chavo Guerrero, and Randy Orton.

Only one wrestler ever posed in Playgirl. Sadly, it wasn't The Rock... it was Shawn Michaels. And you all didn't miss much. BleacherReport.com writes: "This was not a full nude pictorial or anything, it was more to play up his Heartbreak Kid gimmick. The funniest thing about this is that Shawn has actually exposed himself on WWE more than he did in this magazine. Many people may remember Triple H and Shawn mooning the WWE audience when DX was first starting up. He has also had his tights pulled down on many occasions in matches and even stuffed his trunks so he could give a more noticeable crotch chop in JR's face. This is probably not one of Shawn's favorite memories now that he's a devout Christian."

Hulk Hogan Almost Endorsed the Foreman Grill. "Back when Hulk was first blowing up in the entertainment world, he was using a team of people to market his name who were also being employed by George Foreman. As Hogan said on his show Hogan Knows Best, one day Hulk returned home to a message on his answering machine. The message said he had two options for product endorsements -- a blender and a table top grill. Hogan called back only to find out he had been beaten to the punch by Foreman. Hogan tried to endorse the blender, but it was a failure as blenders were already in most homes while the Foreman grill was something new. Just imagine, instead of saying "I'll cook it on my Foreman," saying "I'll cook it on my Hogan." Also, notice Hogan's continued obsession with Thunder. There was the Thunder Mixer, WCW Thunder, he played Thunderlips in Rocky III and he had a show called Thunder in Paradise," writes BleacherReport.com
