‘Big Brother’ Season 17 Premiere Recap: Former MMA Ring Girl Audrey Middleton Reveals She Is Transgender [WATCH]
Reality competition TV show "Big Brother" welcomed its first transgender house guest on Wednesday, People reports.
Audrey Middleton told People she plans to "make bold moves" on the reality show.
Middleton is a digital media consultant from Villa Rica, Georgia. Her eclectic resume includes a stint as a MMA Ring Girl and a pizza delivery person, according to her CBS biography.
"I love to get dressed up and go out. I like to put a lot of effort into my appearance. Not in a superficial way, but it's one of the most fun forms of self-expression for me. Fabulous hair, lashes, makeup," she told People. "I'm the Beyoncé of my life story. As I should be, right?"
Don't let the glamor girl fool you. Middle also loves the outdoors.
"I love doing things outdoors. Camping, hiking, rock climbing, rafting, kayaking, swimming and the list goes on. I live for adventure!" she said.
The 25-year-old was born in a small Georgia town as Adam, according to TMZ. She was raised a boy, but life was difficult as she identified as female. When she decided to transition years ago, her family had a hard time coping. Now, they accept her completely and are supportive.

"My name's Audrey, I'm 25, I'm from a little charming town outside Atlanta... and something interesting about me is that I'm the first transgender person to be on 'Big Brother,'" she said. "This is technically my first time admitting it in a public forum. Hello world!"
She added that she "completely transitioned about three years ago."
