San Francisco 49ers Running Back Reggie Bush Lists Michigan Home for $2.5M
San Francisco 49ers' running back Reggie Bush is now selling his Michigan home.
The newly-signed 49er is offering his Birmingham property for $2.5 million, Los Angeles Times reported.
The 8000-square-foot residence the 30-year-old football player bought in 2013, according to property records, includes five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. Other areas occupying the home's living space are its dining room, a kitchen that displays a center island, an entertainment area equipped with a wet bat at the lower level, a recreation area, a terrace and a media room.
The Michigan home constructed about 17 years ago highlights the genius of designer Jeffrey King. King's works are described by Houzz as having a "design so clean that it is, on some level, minimalism." The site noted that King aims in "editing out life's clutter."
The modern home of the player, who was recently released by the Detroit Lions, showcases spanning glass panels that allow natural light to enter. The Bush residence also displays an open floor area for more comfortable living and airy ambiance.
Outdoors, there is a swimming pool for the next owners to enjoy.
The home's furnishings are said to be included in the sale. Interested buyers may contact real estate agent Eddie Mallad of Re/Max Team 2000 who handles the listing of the property.
A Seasoned Player Enters San Francisco
Despite being released by the Lions after just two seasons of his four-year contract, the player, who tallied a total of 5,465 rushing yards in his career, has found a home in San Francisco 49ers.
The 49ers signed the NFL taiback, who also had played for the New Orleans Saints and the Miami Dolphins, with a one-year contract worth around $2.5 million.
Bush seems to be pleased with his new environment.
"I like what I'm seeing so far. I think right now it's still early so we're still learning the new offensive system. Guys are working hard. Guys are focused. Guys are dedicated. That's the most you can ask for during OTAs," the new 49er running back said, as quoted by 49ers.com.
He feels at ease with the coaches and he's excited that he can be relevant in returning punts, an activity he was not able to do much while in the Lions.
"Just speaking with the coaches, I told them I wanted to return punts and they were all for it. I think it's something that gives me another way to showcase my talents and help the team... It was something I kind of missed," Bush shared.
