"Dragon Ball" is back! Sound familiar?

The newest installment of the "Dragon Ball" series debuted with a new episode this past weekend in Japan. Forbes reports the series has been produced by the show's original creator Akira Toriyama. It is the first new "Dragon Ball" TV series in 18 years and uses the same elements from the last two movies made

It also uses the same villain in Beerus, who has been the main antagonist in the last two movies. It will be very interesting to see how this villain will do during the course of this series.

Familiar faces are back in the show. Son Goku is back as his peaceful life is interrupted once again by danger. Fan favorite Vegeta also returns as he still looks to surpass Goku as the most powerful Saiyan in the universe.

In the first episode, we learned that Son Gohan is engaged to Vidal. Son Goten and Trunks are looking for the perfect wedding present for the two.

In typical "Dragon Ball" comedy, Goku's wife Chi Chi demands that her husband gets a job. Goku takes a job as a farmer with hilarious results.

Also returning is Mr. Satan and former villain Majin Buu. In the first episode, Mr. Satan is stuck with the task of taking care of Buu, who is basically a giant child. These two usually add a lot of comedy to the show and will continue to do so.

According to Kotaku, there wasn't much Vegeta in the pilot episode but will be in the center of the episode.

"Dragon Ball Super" airs every Sunday morning in Japan on Fuji TV, but It is not known if the episodes will be coming to the United States or when they would be.
