Building on its mission of "Amplifying the voice of the Latino community," Latin Post introduces "¿Que Dices?" (What Do You Say?) -- a new weekly video segment that captures the opinions and reactions of their readers and the Latino community at large on the issues affecting them.

Latin Post uses its social media platform and the "¿Que Dices?" on-the-street team to reach Latinos and bring them into the conversation by adding their voices to Latin Post news articles that address specific issues and events that are relevant to the Latino community.

"The growth and impact of Latinos in the U.S. warrants that our voices be heard on what affects us as a community, a voting bloc and economic resource," Latin Post Publisher Patricia Sierra-Sampson said. "Our new video series '¿Que Dices?' brings not only our readership but also the Latino community at large to join our conversation and have their voices heard. LatinPost.com is a news and information website dedicated to offering acculturated, bilingual and bicultural Latinos the latest news and featured content, reflecting the growing influence of the Latino population in the U.S. and its political and economic impact. At the close of 2014, the site averaged 4.3 million unique visitors and 5 million page views.

The U.S. Census estimates that by 2018, Latinos will account for over 18 percent of the population -- a 30-percent growth in just 10 years. Much of this will be due to U.S. births rather than immigration, which will result in a higher number of acculturated and bicultural Latinos.

"Hispanic purchasing power is projected to reach $1.7 trillion by 2017, surpassing that of Asian-American and African-American minority groups," Sierra-Sampson asserts.
