Jacksonville Jaguars' Julius Thomas is saying hello to his new abode in Los Angeles.

The former Denver Broncos tight end has purchased a California townhouse for $1.25 million, $45,000 less than its original listing price, the Los Angeles Times reported. Citing property records, the Times added that the home last changed hands for only $1,099,000 about eleven years ago.

The listing agent for the property was Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie'€™s International Realty, while the agent who represented Thomas in the deal was not mentioned by the Times.

The 2,200-square-foot home of the football player, who signed with the Jaguars in March, features three bedrooms and five bathrooms. Notable interior details such as its raised ceilings make the rooms brighter in appearance while the property's sophisticated wood-lined flooring and terraces that offer indoor-outdoor living add more beauty to the 27-year-old player's new dwelling place.

The California native will really feel at home in his new-found abode with a master suite that displays a fireplace for a more comfortable ambiance. The suite also comes with a his and hers bath.

The four-story townhouse is also being serviced by a private elevator and a three-car garage is available on the first level.

Great expectations as a Jaguar

The two-time Pro Bowler has officially signed with the Jaguars for a five-year contract worth $46 million, with $24 million guaranteed, translating to a $9.2 million salary per year, the Denver Post broke the news in March.

Thomas, who tallied receiving stats of 108 passes, 1,277 yards and 24 touchdowns the past two seasons as part of the Broncos, is expected to be a great addition to the Jaguars, the team's general manager, David Caldwell, relayed to the press during the contract-signing event, ESPN reported.

"He's a mismatch issue in the red zone. He's a mismatch issue when you try to put a corner on him and he's a mismatch issue when you try to put a safety or a linebacker on him. He gives Blake [Bortles] a big target. It gives us the ability to open up the outside with our young receivers and [we] can do a lot of different things," Caldwell said.

The athlete, who attended Portland State University, is a great offensive player and can be an integral part of the Jaguars' rebuilding status due to his "versatility and ability to line up in the slot or out wide," noted ESPN.

Although football experts believe he was able to accomplish impressive things because he played with Peyton Manning, a great quarterback of the Broncos, Thomas believes he still can perform well as part of the Jaguars, and without Manning.
