In what has been dubbed by fans as the year of DC films, 2016 is starting to fill up with some of the most anticipated releases for the franchise's emerging Cinematic Universe. San Diego Comic Con 2015 also revealed panels for these upcoming films and the "Suicide Squad" trailer was leaked online following the event, according to The Huffington Post.

Now that fans got a good look at what they can expect from the film that was tagged as "the antihero Justice League," Jared Leto, Margot Robbie and Will Smith headlined the event that drove fans wild.

The trailer premiered during their Comic Con appearance, and as expected, the audience was driven stark wild when the Joker graced the screen alongside Harley Quinn and Deadshot.

Leto's Joker is conspicuously absent from the film's official poster, due in part to news that the Joker is not officially part of the team, or "the unit" as the leader would like to say.

The comedic glory that is inherent to Harley Quinn was very present in the trailer along with her ultra-sexy outfit and appearance. Robbie, who also played Leonardo DiCaprio's wife in "The Wolf of Wall Street," is in high Hollywood demand these days and is sure to have a big presence on the big screen over the next decade.

In the film, Leto's Joker paid a new homage to the reimagining of the iconic crazy man who is best known for his unpredictable tactics during his legendary battles with Batman.

The insanity of the Joker is well played by Leto, and his new makeup for the role is quite different than that of the late Heath Ledger's, when he portrayed the character back in 2008 on "The Dark Knight" alongside Christian Bale.
