Carrie Underwood Twitter: Singer Rescues Infant Son, Dogs From Car
Carrie Underwood played the hero over the weekend when she rescued her dogs and baby boy out of her locked car.
The country star took to Twitter to talk about the incident on Saturday.
"When your dogs manage to lock themselves, all your stuff & the baby in the car & you have to break a window to get in. #WhatAreTheChances," she tweeted.
She later clarified it was her brother-in-law who broke the window for her while she managed to get her 5-month-old baby Isaiah Michael Fisher out of the locked car.
"I should clarify. My bro-in-law was actually the window breaker in the 'dogs-locked-the-car-door' incident today! But all is good now!" she tweeted. "Minus the broken window, of course!"
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old star has been promoting her latest single "Little Toy Guns," People reports.
She made an appearance at the CMA Music Fest and then later appeared at the Big Barrel music festival in Dover, Delaware.
Underwood won the fourth season of "American Idol" in 2005 where she was named "the female vocalist of her generation ... of any genre" by Rolling Stone, according to her website.
Since then, she has sold 56 million records across the globe scoring 21 top No. 1 hit singles and winning seven Grammy Awards.
"I love all kinds of music," the country crooner said. "I feel like you can listen to my albums and find different influences in different songs -- and I really feel proud that you don't know what you'll get from one of my songs.
"Will it be some giant ballad? Will it be something that makes you cry, or something angry, or something sweet? You just don't know, and I'm proud of that. I love that."
Hopefully the Oklahoma country singer doesn't have to rescue any more dogs and babies from her car in the future.
