Evelyn Lozada, Carl Crawford Expecting Second Child, 'Livin' Lozada' Star Fears She May Suffer Miscarriage
Evelyn Lozada is living with mixed emotions.
According to E! Online, during the premiere of her "Livin Lozada" reality show on the Oprah Winfrey Network, the former "Basketball Wives" star announced she is expecting her second child with LA Dodgers fiancé Carl Crawford but fears she is "most likely going to have a miscarriage."
During Saturday night's premiere episode, the 39-year-old ex-wife of Chad Ochocinco told viewers doctors are now concerned about her hormones because levels recently dropped so low.
"It's not good," she told 21-year-old daughter and fellow cast mate Shaniece through tears. "When I was on my way here, [the doctor] left me a voice mail. She said that my hormone levels have dropped."
Evelyn then explained to her daughter hormones levels for a woman around six weeks pregnant like her should be in the thousands, and hers had fallen all the way down to around 50.
"Most likely, I'm going to end up miscarrying the baby," she said. Throughout the episode, she couldn't help but share her disappointment over all the uncertainty.
"I was like, 'Maybe I'll have a boy,' and then I was like, 'Maybe I'll have a girl. Then she'll be like Sha,'" she said. "I swear to God, I thought about so many things."
Lozada and Crawford are already the parents of young son, Leo. After Saturday's premiere, she took to Twitter to thank her legion of fans, posting, "Thank you to everyone who tuned in. It's a true blessing to share my life, my new beginning and all that it encompasses. #LivinLozada."
"Livin Lozada" airs Saturday nights at 9 p.m.
Lozada and Ochocinco also briefly starred together in the short-lived reality show "Ev and Ocho" in 2012, before it was abruptly pulled off the air after he was charged with domestic abuse.
