The cast of teens that was exclusively sent to a post-apocalyptic Earth in CW's "The 100" has been operating mostly on its own, with a few exceptions of course. But now, the cast will get an adult added to the mix, namely Michael Beach. Beach is most well known for his role on "Sons of Anarchy," according to Entertainment Weekly.

Beach will be joining a cast of teens that have already proven they can survive the war without adults in the mix. They simply have not needed their leadership or survival skills to get by on their own. But Beach will be coming to the cast as the other adult in the show that makes another for the Ark side.

Beach's role on "SOA" was that of T.O., a black man in a misfit biker gang that was adopted into the "Sons" as their first black member. His onscreen presence is most well defined as a wholehearted, sympathizing man who boasts intelligence and creativity. He will no doubt bring controversy to the young characters but is sure to win them over at some point.

His character has been described as "tough and charismatic," as a member of the Ark. He will also portray a staunch moral code onscreen.

Moving forward with Season 3 of "The 100," the midseason premier may be a long way off, but that does not mean it won't hit the ground running. EW also reported from Comic-Con this year and found that there will indeed be a time jump between the seasons, which is a first for the show.

"We are going to have our first time jump between seasons," Jason Rothenberg said at SDCC 2015, as reported by EW. "We're going to pick things up a couple months after Clarke bailed on her people."

This of course means that Bellamy will be picking up the leadership role and look after his own 44.

Season 3 of "The 100" will premiere in 2016.
