Even though most people did not take actor Mark Sheppard seriously at Comic-Con this year when he said Crowley was dead, he repeated his claim in an interview with Pop Sugar.

The online news site asked him what his thoughts were about the Season 10 finale, and his answer was short and to the point.

"It was great! I am dead," Sheppard said.

So now that he is backing up his claim and not going to elaborate more on it, that still may mean little in the show, considering dead people are commonly "alive," very often in "Supernatural."

But that doesn't mean Sheppard also will not be in the show during flashback scenes filmed with the crew and stars. They have already delved quite deeply into Crowley's past, and the demon King of Hell has had many angles in his life and career that the show has touched on.

Sheppard also had a few things to say about looking into the history of his character.

"It can have its limitations, because you are making decisions about things. I was a little worried about the idea, but it is another side of Crowley to see," Sheppard said.

"Ruth [Connell, aka Rowena] is wonderful, but I don't know how well the story went with the son, not to do with the actor, but it is an interesting path to go down."

There has also been news Season 11 of the show will be bringing back some fan favorites. Sheppard has a wish list for who those should be, but there aren't any confirmed appearances on the show yet.

"There are plenty of people that want to [come back]; Jeffrey [Dean Morgan] would probably love to come back. I would love Matt Bomer to do it. We should ask him," Sheppard told Pop Sugar.

According to TVLine, "Supernatural" is slated to return to The CW on Oct. 7.
