JLaw has returned on set for 'The Hunger games: Mockingjay Part 2' shooting after the tragic death of co-star Philip Seymour Hoffman, says PerezHilton.

According to the report, the award-winning actress looked somber as she made her way into the building. The whole cast of the Hunger Games franchise has earlier released a statement regarding the unexpected death of the Plutarch Heavensbee actor.

"Words cannot convey the devastating loss we are all feeling right now," a statement from Lawrence, director Francis Lawrence, author Suzanne Collins, and others on behalf of the Hunger Games team said Sunday, Feb. 2., reports Us Weekly. "Philip was a wonderful person and an exceptional talent, and our hearts are breaking. Our deepest condolences go out to his family."

Company producer for the Hunger Games franchise, Lionsgate Films, has also released a statement regarding the death of the critically-acclaimed actor, says Us Weekly. "Philip Seymour Hoffman was a singular talent and one of the most gifted actors of our generation," the studio said.

"We're very fortunate that he graced our Hunger Games family. Losing him in his prime is a tragedy, and we send our deepest condolences to Philip's family," the studio continued.

The 46-year old actor was reportedly found dead in the bathroom of his New York apartment, notes Huffington Post. ABC News reports that the actor has most likely died due to drug overdose.

According to the ABC News report, 50 bags of heroin and used syringes were found at Plutarch's home and a needle was allegedly sticking out of his arm when he was found.

Hoffman died 7 days before shooting for the second part of 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay' ends and only had one more scene to shoot for the upcoming film. Producers are saying that the actor's death will not affect the upcoming Mockingjay films' release dates, reports JustJared.

'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' is slated to release November 21, 2014 while the second part will be out November 20, 2015, notes Huffington Post.
