'Teen Wolf' Season 5 Episode 8 Spoilers: What Will Deaton Discover About Dread Doctors?
Will Dr. Alan Deaton, the reliable go-to-guy for the enigmas happening in Beacon Hills, discover anything about the Dread Doctors to help the gang in "Teen Wolf" Season 5, Episode 8?
Episode 7 highlights
A potentially villainous Theo (Cody Christian) bonding with Stiles (Dylan O' Brien) in the 7th episode titled "Strange Frequencies" is one highlight of the show, noted TV Fanatic.
Another one is a plan that failed, despite good intentions. The "True Alpha" wolf leader Scott (Tyler Posey) and the gang, with the help of police officer Parrish (Ryan Kelley), deviced a plan to trap one of the Dread Doctors.
However, they failed just like how they tried to trap the Benefactor or its allies last season, episode 8, when they created a plan that Scott will be pronounced dead. In this case, it was worse because Scott's first "Beta" wolf, Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and the friendly chimera, Hayden (Victoria Moroles) fell in the hands of their antagonists.
Dr. Deaton's wisdom
In the next episode, they will have to fight the devious Dread Doctors in order for them to get back their friends safe and breathing.
However, rescuing their friends may not be that easy in the 8th episode, titled "Ouroboros," without the help of the trustworthy and very wise veterinarian, Dr. Deaton (Seth Gilliam). The synopsis reportedly teased that "Deaton makes a horrific discovery about the Dread Doctors."
Although we know that this could be something tough to handle, at least whatever they will learn from these Doctors could also lead to a way on how to defeat them.
"Knowing is half the battle," so to speak, and with the genius of Lydia the banshee (Holland Roden) and even the logical Stiles, everything will turn up fine. However, we still would not know if their victory will happen in the next episode.
"Ouroboros"
The word "ouroboros" is depicted as a "serpent biting, devouring, or eating its own tail," noted Token Rock. The symbol also shows the "cyclic Nature of the Universe" where creation may result from destruction and even "Life out of Death." The ouroboros image is seen eating its own tail to "sustain its life, in an eternal cycle of renewal."
Given title for the next episode, there could be an indication that the series' fans may know more about Parrish, too. With him being indestructible by fire, as seen in last season's episode, when his police partner tried burning him alive for the Benefactor's reward of $5 million, he may be somewhat like Phoenix, a mystical creature.
However, a fan is thinking that he could not be a phoenix, rather, he is a hellhound. This theory was formed by reddit user Cheeseburguh, who stated that "hell hounds are also associated with fire." He also noted that these creatures "also gravitate toward finding lost souls."
Other series' spoilers
The long search for the elusive "Desert Wolf," may be over as NCIS star Marisol Nichols has been casted on the show, reported TV Line. The appearance of this "Desert Wolf" will impact the characters as it is said to be Malia's (Shelley Hennig) mother, but also the longtime obsession and target of Braeden (Meagan Tandy).
