Marvel's upcoming franchise "Doctor Strange" looks like it will have a different look from the rest of the films that have already been produced by the studio.

According to ScreenDaily, "Doctor Strange's" cinematographer Ben Davis noted that the upcoming film will have a "psychedelic grounding" and that it would be "Marvel's 'Fantasia.'" This is because the direction of the film will be different from any of the other films the company has produced.

He added, "Most of the work within it is about other dimensions. And I described it, I think, when I was talking to Marvel as Marvel's 'Fantasia,' in a way, because it's so sort of out there and different to everything else that they've done."

He also noted, "It's all very out there. I can't really say much more about it, I'm afraid. But I think it'll be really interesting, and it's a very dark movie, I'm pleased to say."

Davis is best known for his work on the Marvel films "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron." He has also worked on "Kick Ass," "Stardust," "Genius" and "The Debt."

"Doctor Strange" is one of the most anticipated films of next year and Marvel has kept details under wraps. Plot details are unknown and casting details are also very sparse.

The few things known are that Academy Award nominee Benedict Cumberbatch will play the lead role of Doctor Strange alongside Oscar winner Tilda Swinton ("Michael Clayton," "Snowpiercer"), who will play the Ancient One.

Rachel McAdams ("True Detective," "Sherlock Holmes") was reported to have been offered a part in the film, but she has not confirmed her participation, while Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor ("12 Years a Slave," "Children of Men") may be playing the villainous role of Baron Mordo.

The film is expected to begin shooting in November with Scott Derrickson ("Deliver us From Evil") slated to direct the film.

"Doctor Strange" is expected to hit theaters on Nov. 4, 2016.
