The cast of the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie has a lot of pressure on them. They must fulfill the fantasies of millions of E.L. James's readers while challenging their careers by going so risqué. Recently, star Jamie Dornan and rumored cast member Katie Cassidy talked about what Fifty Shades of Grey means to them.

Dornan, who plays Christian Grey in the film, knows that an S&M-loving billionaire is a difficult role, but he believes he can play the part.

"There's no way of me answering that without sounding like a dick," he told Elle UK via Belfast Telegraph. "Look, I wouldn't waste my time doing something if I didn't think I had the capability."

The Northern Irish actor first gained fame in the United States as Sherriff Graham in ABC's Once Upon a Time. Starring in the film adaptation of a bestselling novel could be the catapult that helps Dornan's career fly.

"I've always wanted to act, but a lot of things need to be aligned," he explained. "You need to get a little luck, and you need that platform to prove you can act."

Since landing the role, Dornan has become a sort of fan favorite amongst James's readers. The 31-year-old actor, however, takes that all with a grain of salt.

"I don't know a lot about that," Dornan said. "I'm not very active on Twitter, and I don't read stuff when people mention me. I don't think it's very healthy. You'll scroll down loads of good comments until you see something negative, and that's the only one you'll take on board."

Meanwhile, Katie Cassidy (Arrow, Gossip Girl) has been rumored to be joining the Fifty Shades of Grey cast ever since James uploaded a picture of the actress onto her Instagram page. Recently, Cassidy addressed the casting rumors.

"I'm obviously a fan of the book," she told Cosmopolitan. "E.L. James is obviously incredibly talented and has become a friend of mine."

Fifty Shades of Grey hits theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
