Marvel's Stan Lee could be considered one of the most legendary comic book creators over at the comics company. He is perhaps most well-known as the creator of "Spider-Man." But that doesn't mean that he hasn't kept up on rival company DC Comics characters, particularly in regards to the upcoming "Batman v Superman" film.

According to the Boston Herald, Lee sounded off on the upcoming film and even hedged his bets on a winner in the film. But fans do not view the film as just some grudge match, but more of a building block, bringing the legendary superheroes from DC Comics together to form the Justice League, hence the title: "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

At Boston Comic-Con, Lee was asked by the Herald which superhero in the film he would put his money on.

"Oh, Superman," Lee told the Boston Herald. "He's indestructible, he can do anything. And Batman relies on a few weapons. If this is real, a fight between Superman and Batman, there's no way you'd bet on Batman."

But as most fans of the film already know, Batman has the power of Kryptonite on his side, and that seems to counteract what Lee said. Not to mention, he made the comment in Ben Affleck's (Batman) very own Boston.

Lee continued on, almost in support of the ex-"Daredevil" actor though.

"Well, I like Ben Affleck," Lee said. "If they get Mortimer Snerd to play Superman, maybe Affleck would have a chance."

But those words were more of a snub than anything else, considering Mortimer Snerd was a ventriloquist dummy voiced by Edgar John Bergen in the early 20th century, according to the website Science Fiction. But one supposes Lee cannot spend all his time hyping the film of a rival company that he has been competing against for half a century.
