In the blink of an eye, Nike's next installment of Kanye West collaborations, the Nike Air Yeezy II Red October sneakers, went on sale and sold-out. You can still get a pair of the new kicks, however, if you are willing to spend a couple of thousand dollars.

Yesterday, Nike announced the release of Kanye West's new sneakers via Twitter.

"The Nike Air Yeezy 2 is now available," Nike.com said via Twitter.

According to Vibe, Nike announced that the shoes, which most did not even know were under development, were no longer available after just 11 minutes.

"The Nike Air Yeezy 2 has sold out on https://Nike.com," Nike.com tweeted.

A visit to Nike's online store gives an equally disappointing message: "THE PRODUCT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE." So, how can you get your hand on Kanye West's highly anticipated Red Octobers? The answer is of course, eBay.

A simple search for the Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers brings up over 700 results, but the sneakers come at a price. Nike sold the shoes for $245, but eBay's most expensive listing for the sneakers is already a whopping $15,000, with two hours still left for bidding. Most of the eBay listings, however, are currently selling the shoes in the lower $1,000s ($3,000-$5,000).

The release of the Nikes comes less than two months after Kanye West apologized for attacking the company.

"I really feel honored to have had the chance to blow Yeezy [sneakers] up with Nike," West said in an interview with I Am Tall Boy. "I really appreciate everything they did for me. I'm not knocking them on the way out or burning no bridges. I apologize for my frustration earlier."

Back in November, the future of the Red Octobers was uncertain.

"They try to act like people ain't line up for the Yeezys," Kanye West told Complex. "[Nike CEO] Mark Parker tried to son me ... I asked Nike when the Red Octobers supposed to drop, and they said, 'We don't know.'"
