Fifth Harmony Releases 'I'm in Love With a Monster' Music Video [Watch]
Fifth Harmony are showing off their creepy side for their latest music video. On Aug. 27, the group celebrated the premiere of the music video for "I'm in Love With a Monster," their song off of the "Hotel Transylvania 2" soundtrack.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the group, who is currently on tour, stopped by Times Square in New York City to join characters from the film in promoting the release of the music video.
The video features all five members rocking a variety of outfits, including some menswear-inspired pieces, as well as glamorous dresses and dark makeup. The group can be seen walking the halls and rooms of a haunted mansion and encountering a variety of monsters, reported MTV.
In a statement released in June, announcing that the group would pen the theme song for the animated film, the president of Sony, Lia Vollack, explained why the group was the perfect choice.
"There are few groups out there that can match the incredibly fun feel and animated vision that Genndy Tartakovsky [the movie's director] is bringing to 'Hotel Transylvania 2,' and Fifth Harmony knocked it out of the park," Vollack said. "The song is exactly what we were hoping for."
"Hotel Transylvania 2," which stars Selena Gomez, comedians Adam Sandler and Kevin James and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star Andy Samberg, is set to premiere in theaters worldwide on Sept. 25.
The pop group was also in New York City to perform at the Beacon Theatre as part of their "Summer Reflection" tour, which was sold out. The group shared a picture from their performance on Instagram.
