Season 4 of the HBO hit Game of Thrones premieres April 2. Singer Stevie Nicks and President Barack Obama are amongst fans counting the days until the new episodes. In fact, the two love Game of Thrones so much that they both have special wishes regarding the show.

Fleetwood Mac singer Nicks says she is impressed by George R.R. Martin, who created the A Song of Fire and Ice novel series from which Game of Thrones is based.

"It blows my mind that he's able to create this vast, interlinked world," Nicks told Radio Times. "As a songwriter I write little movies. But I can't imagine sitting down and writing even one small book, a novel. We each have our thing that we're really good at."

Nicks does not necessarily see herself guest starring on the HBO show, but she does think she could write for the show's soundtrack.

"I would love to write some music for the show," she said. "I've written a bunch of poetry about it -- one for each of the characters. On Jon Snow... on Arya... on Cersei... on Cersei and Jaime, the blonde on blonde... on Khaleesi... I'm always looking for that kind of inspiration, and I'm very inspired by it - as I was very inspired by Twilight."

The 65-year-old singer cites Khaleesi (Emilia Clarke) as her favorite character and says Cersei (Lena Headey) "is fantastic." Nicks got hooked on Game of Thrones while suffering from pneumonia and mourning her mother. She says that season 1 of the series "certainly took my mind off of everything."

Nicks may be able to find a new Game of Thrones binging partner in the President of the United States. During a state dinner, President Obama went up to Richard Plepler, HBO CEO, requesting an advanced copy of the upcoming season of Game of Thrones, New York Times reports. The President also asked for early copies of True Detective, and tweeted to Netflix's House of Cards, asking for the show not to be spoiled.

Game of Thrones premieres at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
