Toronto Raptors forward DeMarre Carroll is unloading his Atlanta property.

The former Atlanta Hawks basketball player offers his seven-bedroom home for 1.27 million, Realtor.com reported. The Birmingham-born athlete just purchased it for $947,500 two years ago as his abode while playing for the Hawks.

The listing describes the estate as a "dream home on [a] beautiful wooded lot." The 9,543-square-foot two-story residence includes seven and a half full bathrooms, two great rooms, a foyer, living room, dining room, family room, porch, home theater, game room, full bar, laundry room, office and three-car garage.

Cooking will be a breeze in its chic modern kitchen that is equipped with granite-lined countertops, a breakfast bar, walk-in pantry, high-end appliances, two dishwashers and islands to serve as working stations or even dine-in areas.

The next owners will also have a comfortable stay at the master suite that comes with its own "morning kitchen," private balcony, double closet, large jetted tub and frameless shower.

The interiors of the home, built in 2007, also display hardwood flooring, soaring ceilings with a coffered design, intricate hanging lights and custom-built storages.

Outdoors, there's a heated pool for a relaxing swim.

A lucrative deal with the Raptors

The NBA player, who started with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2009, has just agreed to a four-year deal worth $60 million with the Toronto team in July, per a tweet of USA Today's Sam Amick.

His two seasons with the Hawks truly honed his skills as a basketball player. During both years, he was able to post a double-digit score per game, something he was not able to accomplish before while playing for other teams, according to ESPN stats. He also managed to double his average points, rebounds, assists and steals per game since he last played for Utah Jazz.

The 29-year-old athlete knows that his time with the Hawks is well-spent, and he will cherish it. However, an opportunity with the Raptors is something he has been waiting for the past six seasons.

"You know Atlanta played a big, major role in my life, major part of my family life so it would always be good to get back to Atlanta. But, on the same token, my options are open," Carroll said in a radio interview after the 2014 season, as quoted by SB Nation.

Sports Illustrated's 81st on its Top 100 NBA Players of 2016, Caroll enters the NBA season with the Raptors while marking his seventh year as a basketball athlete. Once described as a journeyman by SB Nation, will he be staying with the Raptors for good?
