Fifth Harmony fans can expect new girl power anthems from the pop group when they release a new LP. The group also recently revealed plans to record and who their female inspirations are.

During an interview with Bustle, Normani Kordei revealed the group would be taking September off from touring to record new music.

"We will be working on our upcoming album this September, actually," Normani Kordei said.

"We're taking off the whole month to do dedicate that time to recording. We can't give you specifics or details because the creative process and magic doesn't really happen until that time, being in sessions and studios. But yeah, it's coming."

The singers, who recently announced their European tour, have been enjoying the success of their summer hit, "Worth It," a song about empowering female sexuality, and also took the time to reveal who their female inspirations are.

While big actresses like Sandra Bullock, Angelina Jolie, superstar Beyoncé and first lady Michelle Obama were all on their list, one in particular always stands out for Ally Brooke Hernandez.

"One of my biggest inspirations is Jennifer Lopez because I love what she has done with her career," said Hernandez.

"She's opened the door for so many Latinas out there, including myself, and she portrayed so beautifully and perfectly my favorite entertainer, which was Selena. She is so hard-working, so dedicated. She's incredibly passionate and so talented. I love that she doesn't let anything stop her."

When it comes to discussing their fellow female artists, Fifth Harmony expresses nothing but support, even when the stars in question are controversial.

Camilla Cabello was recently asked what she thought of singer Miley Cyrus, and instead of criticizing the "Wrecking Ball" singer, Cabello showed support, reported Sugar Scape.

"I don't think anybody is allowed to tell someone who to be, even if you don't agree with it," Cabello said about Cyrus' controversial behavior and outfits at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

"I think her outfits were really cute. There was a colourful jumpsuit, which I would totally wear."
