“Outlander,” the wildly popular time travel drama based on the novels of Diana Gabaldon, is getting ever closer to its second season.

Images of the cast filming in the Czech Republic -- which is supposed to be France just prior to the Jacobite invasion of Scotland -- have recently been put on Facebook on the page of an "Outlander's" Czech fan group.

Executive producer Ron Moore recently answered a bunch of questions about the upcoming season on Twitter. When asked when Bree, the redheaded offspring of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jaime Frasier (Sam Heughan) would be cast, he responded, “As soon as we can find her. The search is underway.”

Moore seems to feel terrific about how the show is coming along, tweeting, “Show looks amazing, cast is superb, story working -- very optimistic.”

Although there is no official date set for season 2 to air, Moore tells fans, “Look for March/April.”

Back in May, Moore spoke to E! about how Jamie and Claire would be heading to France to do nothing less than try to change history. “It's a completely different show," he said and went on to describe the plush opulence that his time traveling love birds would find. "You're talking about fine linens and silks, you're talking about gilt chandeliers, you know, everything that your mind conjures up when you say Versailles or Paris of that era.”

So, for season 2 the backdrop for “Outlander” will suddenly match the romance between its main characters.

When asked if there was any greater TV romance than the one displayed between Jamie and Claire, Moore joked around, suggesting Sam and Diane from the 1980s bar comedy “Cheers,” before deciding that Captain Kirk and Edith Keeler, played by a young Joan Collins, in “Star Trek's” “The City on the Edge of Forever” was no question “the greatest romance of all!"
