'The Bachelor 2014', Who Will Win & Spoilers: ABC Didn't Show All the Attacks Against Juan Pablo Galavis on Women Tell All Special
Monday's The Bachelor: Women Tell All special put everything out on the table. The women had no problem telling Juan Pablo Galavis exactly how they felt. The special's negativity toward the Bachelor and not amongst the women themselves was surprising, but more surprising is that there is even more hostility toward Galavis than what aired last night.
It is not just The Bachelor contestants that have negative views on Galavis. Former The Bachelorette winner Jef Hom and former The Bachelorette contestant Kalon McMahon have publicly criticized the 32-year-old Venezuelan bachelor. Now, host Chris Harrison is also sharing his opinion.
The Bachelor host said he did not feel bad for Galavis while he was getting attacked by the women who used to compete for his heart.
"He's a big boy and has made his own bed," Harrison told TV Guide. "Juan Pablo can be his own worst enemy. Whether this was a good fit or not or the best decision, I feel like he's fought it. For me, he gets really defensive and short and that's when he says, 'OK' or 'perfect,' whereas normally you'd have a response. He either gets defensive or goes into dad mode and he talks to them like they're his daughter, and says things like, 'Don't be sad,' and touches their hair."
The women attacked Galavis for his anti-gay remarks and condescending attitude, but according to E! News, that was only part of the drama. Behind-the-scenes, things were even more aggressive.
"When Kelly called Juan Pablo out for his anti-gay remarks, particularly his use of the word 'pervert' [it] was way more heated than what was televised, with Kelly and Juan Pablo fighting over what he said," E! News reports. "Finally, Harrison promised Kelly that she would get to talk to Juan Pablo...after the taping finished."
E! News, who was reportedly at the taping, says that editing removed Galavis being called "not genuine" and "narcissistic." Sharleen was also extra fired up, and Harrison had to ask her to calm down multiple times. Plus, Andi said Galavis dreamt of being "the best El Bachelor in history." Afterwards, Galavis reportedly kissed every woman on the cheek without any resistance.
SPOILER ALERT: The finale of The Bachelor airs Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC. According to Star-Spin, Nikki will win the final rose. The site claims that Galavis and Nikki never got engaged but are still together. LALATE, however, claims that Galavis is now flirting with others.
