Singer Thalía revealed on Monday that she recorded her own version of the theme song for the telenovela "Antes nuerta que Lichita" titled "Si Alguna Vez."

The singer shared an image on her Instagram account announcing the premiere of her version of the telenovela's theme song, which was originally recorded by the telenovela's star Maite Perroni.

"Today is the release of #SiAlgunaVez, the new song that takes me back to the world of telenovelas! Enjoy it!" the star captioned the image.

Recently. the pop singer and actress announced that she would be making a return to telenovelas after 16 years away, but the star didn't reveal much detail.

"I will return soon to a telenovela," the singer said. "Soon, I won't say in what form, but soon, in a couple of days. I am going to be in a telenovela every night."

The actress explained that telenovelas are time consuming. In the past she has said that returning to telenovelas was a very tough decision that only a great paycheck or her friend, actor William Levy, would make possible.

Besides making a telenovela comeback, Thalía has been busy promoting her second collection with Macy's called "Thalia Sodi."

The star attended the launch of the collection on Saturday wearing one of her own designs, which she showed off on Instagram.
