After a car horn began honking from within Alexandria at the end of the harrowing premiere episode for Season 6 of "The Walking Dead," the walker horde will head back toward the town.

In Episode 2, entitled "JSS," this new threat leaves the community little time to recover before facing the next zombie onslaught, according to Spoilers Guide,

The settlement was nearly out of danger at the end of the last episode, as the herd of zombies was being led away from Alexandria. But the horn sounding from the town means that the community either has a traitor in their midst or has been breached by one of their living enemies.

That mysterious threat looms over the next episode. As fans know, there are many likely suspects as to who might have tripped the alarm.

Die-hard fans of the series remember that threats last season often came in the form of living people, as well as the undead. The Wolves were the last enemies to remain standing, and Daryl (Norman Reedus) even had a run in with them without knowing it.

Meanwhile, fans watched in the last episode as Carter (Ethan Embry) came on the scene, appearing as if he might be a new lead character in the series. Those hopes came to an end when Rick (Andrew Lincoln) killed him, after he was bitten in a compromising situation.

Lincoln recently spoke with TV Guide about Season 6.

"One of the most exciting and thrilling things about this season is the cliffhanger aspect of every single episode," the show star told TV Guide. "Questions are answered very rapidly, just to reassure everybody. These episodes are like big body blows coming in very, very quickly. There isn't much breathing space. It's a real roller-coaster ride, and you should hang on tight. But yes, rest assured that that answer will come very quickly."

Episode 2 will air on cable network AMC on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 9 p.m. ET, according to TV Guide.
