The makers behind the CyanogenMod come up with a new droid device called the One Plus One that can be better off than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

It may still turn out funny to some but the phone can actually rise as a threat to the other high end flagship devices from the most popular tech brands like Samsung, reports KpopStarz. In fact, it has beaten the Galaxy Note 3 in the popular benchmarking app of AnTuTu, proving its higher capacity for performance.

The AnTuTu benchmarking app listed the OnePlus One droid with a score of 36,715 beating the high-end Samsung device in its top rank. Both devices have the same kind of the Snapdragon 800 chipset. But what makes it all the more exciting for fans is that it is rumored to have a price of just below $400 and will be launched in the second quarter of this year.

Other OnePlus One rumored features also include an impressive battery life. According to CEO Pete Lau, they wanted to come up with a battery that can last for a long day with the user not having to worry about adjusting its settings just to save more power, Yahoo states.

Hence, they came up with a 3,100 mAh non-removable battery. Mr. Lau further added that their upcoming droid gadget may remain a big mystery to all but will ensure utmost battery life with the help of their partnership with CyanogenMod.

More recent news reported by Androidandme.com discusses how the company's CEO has also revealed the display details of the OnePlus One at 5.5 inch with 1080p display. Its screen will also have Touch On Lens modules so as to minimize space between the display panel and the touch sensors so as to make it more shatter resistant.

Other OnePlus One rumored features include the quad core Snapdragon 800 processor, LTE, and the storage options of 16GB and 64GB.
