"Empire" is all new Wednesday night, when Andre Lyon (Trai Byers) gets baptized to wash away all of his sins, and Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) pulls a gun on someone.

"You're swimming with a lot of cash and they're going to come after you," Adam Rodriguez says in the promo to Season 2 Episode 5, titled "Be True."

In the next scene, Cookie points a gun at a man. It's unclear who the man is or if the clip is another flash back to her former life. Could she be pulling a Bunkie (Antoine McKay) on someone at Empire? That would be an interesting twist.

Meanwhile, Andre is getting baptized in the next episode. Right before his baptism, Andre tells Cookie, "I'm not a good person, mom. I've done horrible things."

"So have I, Dre," Cookie replies, while patting her son on the cheek. "God knows your heart."

In the last episode, titled "Poor Yorick," Andre dug up Vernon's (Malik Yoba) dead body with his wife Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday). Lucious (Terrence Howard) caught them in the act and thanked them for saving his life.

Lucious was looking to kill Vernon for telling the feds that he is Bunkie's real murderer and leaking information about their past dealings. Vernon was the star witness to the case, but was accidentally killed by Rhonda before he could even make it to court.

"Welcome back to the Empire, son," Lucious tells Dre at the start of the promo, in which it was revealed that they are reviving an old label called Gutter Life Records.

Dre has what it takes to win his father's acceptance after all. He accepted Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and gave him the Empire when he nearly killed someone for him in Season 1. What will Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) have to do to get back into his father's life?

But Hakeem doesn't seem to want that anyway. He's more concern with winning Cookie's complete support and crushing the Empire with their new music company The Lyon Dynasty.

Tune into Fox Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET for all new episodes of "Empire."
