Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo users can now install Android 5.1.1 Android Lollipop update! The firmware is now available via OTA and KIES, according to GSM Arena.

The report revealed that the latest Android Lollipop update is now rolling out in South Korea for various models of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo. Accordingly, the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update is compatible with the Samsung phablet bearing the model numbers SM-N750S, SM-N750K and lastly SM-N750L.

The latest Android firmware versions for the different models, with Oct. 12 build date, can be installed using the Over-The-Air update. The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update can be installed by Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo users to their phone through the Over-the-Air (OTA) update or via the desktop tool called Samsung KIES.

Those who wish to update to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop through OTA can wait for an automatic notification that should appear on the phone once the firmware becomes available. Moreover, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo users can also manually check the availability of the Android update.

To do so, simply go to Settings menu, look for System and the tap the About Device option. Lastly, select Check for Updates for the server to start looking for the latest Android software available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo.

Follow the instructions carefully if the phone prompts a message saying that the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update is already available. Users have the option to install the update instantly or do it at a later time.

A stable Wi-fi connection is required to download the Android update. Make sure to turn off the mobile data connection settings before downloading and installing the firmware to avoid unwanted data charges from the network carrier.
