The prognosis for Lamar Odom's long-term health still hangs in the balance, but rumors are mother-in-law Kris Jenner is already "feverishly" negotiating to seal a deal for his first "post-overdose" interview.

Radar Online reports the calculating momager is seeing big dollar signs where the former NBA star is concerned, and she already plans to have his ordeal play out on camera on the family's "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" Bravo reality show.

"All of a sudden, Lamar's become useful to her again," a source said, adding that 35-year-old Odom's medical crisis and ongoing recovery will both be prominently featured on the show. "Anyone saying they've not been filming throughout this doesn't know what they're talking about."

The former two-time champion and NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award winner remains hospitalized and fighting to regain his strength, after being rushed to a Las Vegas hospital emergency room earlier this month.

Odom had been staying at the Love Ranch brothel, when workers there found him in his room unresponsive with blood dripping from both his nose and mouth. Workers later told investigators they saw him do cocaine and ingest at least 10 herbal supplement tablets while at the establishment.

"Kris is licking her lips at all the money she'll make on the back of Lamar's OD," a source added. "She puts on a good show of maternal concern, but there's always an agenda with Kris and Lamar's troubles are no exception."

Meanwhile, Odom could face criminal charges after reportedly testing positive for cocaine. A Vegas prosecutor has made it known he plans to recommend felony drug charges be filed against Kobe Bryant's former LA Lakers teammate. The offense is punishable by up to four years in jail.

Odom's once estranged wife Khloé Kardashian has rarely left his side since he's been hospitalized, and the two recently called off divorce proceedings.
