Adele may choose not to stream her upcoming album "25" on Spotify.

The 27-year-old "Hello" singer is reportedly withholding her new album from the music streaming service to prevent users from listening to her tracks for free until the music platform meets her demands, according to The Verge.

Adele is supposedly willing to stream her new album on Spotify, but only for paid subscribers. This would limit the album's release to approximately 20 million of the 75 million total users on the streaming service.

Spotify say they have yet to determine whether "25" will be available for streaming, and have thus far rejected Adele's proposal to limit the album's release.

A senior executive at Spotify said, "It is categorically untrue that anyone has asked us to feature Adele's new album on premium only."

The streaming service has lost out on some of the most popular releases in the past few years, such as Beyoncé's eponymous album in 2013 and Taylor Swift's "1989" in 2014.

Meanwhile, Adele is preparing to promote her forthcoming album with multiple appearances in the coming weeks. First, she will be featured as the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" on Saturday, Nov. 21 with host Matthew McConaughey. She is also performing at her upcoming "Adele Live in New York City" concert special, which will take place on Monday, Dec. 14 and air on NBC.

Adele is set to release "25" on Friday, Nov. 20. The album has already produced the single "Hello," which has topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart and become the fastest selling single of 2015. "25" is the follow-up to the Grammy-winning "21," which produced the singles "Rolling in the Deep," "Someone like You," "Set Fire to the Rain," "Rumour Has It" and "Turning Tables."
