Noted artists Luis Miguel and Alejandro Fernandez will be working together on a tour throughout 2016.

Fernandez had been posting a slew of cryptic messages on his Twitter and other social media accounts hinting at a big project he had coming in 2016. He had repeatedly hinted at the project as "Confidential" and even had a crossword puzzle on another. The series of tweets had begun on Nov. 10 and the singer had posted one every single day to build the hype on the mystery project.

The tour will take place between April and November though there have yet to be any officially announced dates or venues.

Fernandez, 44, is the son of legendary Mexican singer Vicente Fernandez. Alejandro Fernandez initially followed in his father's footsteps, singing a lot of traditional and folkloric Mexican music but has since branched out into become a pop singer. He has recorded 15 studio albums and six live albums with his most recent being the 2014 record "Confidencias Reales." He won a Latin Grammy Award for Best Ranchero Album back in 2000.

Fernandez recently suffered an automobile accident this past September that left him out of commission. He just recently returned to performing and is likely looking forward to a big 2016.

Miguel is a Puerto Rican-born singer whose parents resided in Mexico. He is well-versed in an array of different musical styles and has sold over 100 million records worldwide. Miguel has received a plethora of awards including three Grammys for Best Latin Pop Album, two Grammys for Best Mexican/ Mexican-American Album and three Latin Grammy Awards. He has recorded 22 studio albums, two live albums and 43 music videos.

For years many considered the two men rivals, though Fernandez stated as recently as 2014 that there was no such competition between the two men.
