After Episode 7 ended on the season's biggest cliffhanger, leaving fans wondering what will happen to Kevin (Justin Theroux) after his death, the new preview for Episode 8 adds to the mystery.

According to TV Guide, the synopsis states, "Kevin hopes to conquer Patti once and for all, in an unusual arena, but any resolution could come at great personal cost."

In Episode 7, viewers were shocked to learn that the only way Kevin could get rid of Patti (Ann Dowd) was to kill himself, leading him to try drowning himself in the lake before an earthquake occurred. According to Virgil (Steven Williams), Kevin has to face Patti on the other side.

Kevin has to die, face Patti and then come back to life. While Kevin understandably didn't seem up for the challenge, he later drank some poison and shot himself in the head. The last thing fans saw of Kevin was his body being dragged by Michael (Jovan Adepo).

The promotional video for the new episode doesn't reveal much of whats to come after Kevin and Virgil's "deaths." It does show Michael in the woods looking shocked all of a sudden by something in front of him.

The episode will also reveal where Tom (Chris Zylka) has been, and John Murphy (Kevin Carroll) can be seen in the clip trying to evade a group of cops coming after him.

While the promo didn't give much insight into what will happen to Kevin, Theroux hinted that fans shouldn't freak out too much over the death scene, reported Variety.

"It's possible you'll see more of me in a couple of iterations, but that's all I'll say," he said.

The actor also revealed why he thinks Kevin chose to believe Virgil's advice, despite the risks of the proposition.

"I think what he enables him to kill himself is feeling that as much as possible, he's been able to tack down his family in a way. He's gotten somehow Laurie back to his house with Jill, even though that's maybe not the best relationship," Theroux said. "He's gotten a promise from Nora saying she'll come back if he can rid himself of these voices. And so he's put his finger in the dyke long enough for him to run to Virgil's trailer to try this thing. I think he thinks he'll be back in 5 minutes, as Virgil promised."
