Academy award winning actress, Sandra Bullock plans to produce a television version of her widely popular movie, Miss Congeniality.

Miss Congeniality debuted in 2000 and stars Bullock as the congenial role of Gracie Hart. Hart is an FBI agent who transforms herself as part of an undercover sting operation to catch a killer. Bullock's character goes from tomboy flab to pageantry fab in the movie and is forced to participate in the Miss United States Pageant as her alias, 'Gracie Lou Freebush.'

Surprisingly and to some dismay, Bullock will not be reprising the Gracie Hart role this time around. She is currently looking to cast the perfect woman who can blend both contrasting personas needed within the character. Who's your pick?

Bullock has opted to stick to the producing side of the project, and she is no stranger to 'playing the role' of producer. Bullock has been the producing name behind many successful projects that include the Miss Congeniality Series, The Proposal, Hope Floats, and the ever-popular Latin-American family comedy, The George Lopez Show.

Although it's been over a decade since Miss Congeniality the movie, Bullock is confident that the television show will garner the same popularity and fan base that the movie once had.

According to RadarOnline's source, the show is described as a mash-up of "Bridesmaids Meets 24."

The source went on to say, "Sandra loved her Miss Congeniality FBI agent character Gracie Hart ... so much that for years she has continued to keep up friendships with FBI agents she met while researching it," the insider continued. "Sandra loves that real FBI agents, particularly female ones, continue to respond to and write her letters about both Miss Congeniality and The Heat."
