Swedish DJ and producer Avicii will no longer perform at Miami's annual Ultra Music Festival according to UMF reps on Friday.

The Wake Me Up producer was forced to cancel his performance in the festival due to his severe gall bladder health issues. Avicii has been hospitalized and may undergo surgery to remove his gall bladder.

Although Avicii will no longer perform, the show must go on. UMF confirmed on Friday evening that the Canadian house producer and performer, deadmau5, will replace Avicii on the night of the show.

"We are THRILLED to announce that @deadmau5 has been added to #Ultra2014 and will close the main stage tomorrow," UMF tweeted.

Despite past rumors of "beef" between the two EDM producers, deadmau5 seemed happy and willing to help Avicii out in his time of need.

"well... looks like my stay here in miami just got extended for a couple more days ;)," deadmau5 posted to Twitter. "well, stranger shit has happened... thats for sure. but, glad i could help a friend out and be with my fans tomorrow night :)"

The pair have been previously linked as "beefing" following a tweet that deadmau5 posted saying, "Wake me up when this songs over." The tweet was believed to be a subtle jab at Avicii's hit 2013 single, Wake Me Up. Since then, however, the rumors have been squashed.

Ultra Music Festival boasts providing "... the world's best Djs, unparalleled production, and location in the beautiful city of Miami." The festival extends for a three-day weekend and features a full line-up with the best in electronic music.

Aside from deadmau5, this year's line-up includes David Guetta, Afrojack, MGMT, MIA, Empire of the Sun, Paul Van Dyk, Gaia, and more.
