Undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. warns the unbeaten World Boxing Organization super flyweight titleholder Terence Crawford on a possible showdown with eight-division world champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.

Mayweather, who triumphed against the Filipino boxing great on May 2 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, gave some words of wisdom to Crawford just in case Pacquiao picks him for his fight next year, Fight Hype noted.

"If Terence Crawford happens to fight Manny Pacquiao, I want to let him know that it's not going to be easy. Even though I know I made it look easy, it's not going to be easy," said "The Money."

Mayweather also admitted that "Pacman" surprised him as he could really fight.

"He's a lot better than what I thought he was. From me being in the ring with Manny Pacquiao, I take my hat off to him and I can see why he went so far in his career," the retired boxer added.

Mayweather explained that Pacquiao is bigger, stronger and even "hits harder" that Crawford's previous opponent, Yuriorkis Gamboa.

Gamboa and Crawford met in June 2014 at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska, where Crawford successfully defended his WBO lightweight title via a ninth round knockout victory, per BoxRec.

The boxer-promoter also shared that he "really, really" like the young WBO champ, whom he described as someone who "can really fight." Although he knew "Hunter" did not really give his best against Gamboa, he still wanted to let the 28-year-old fighter that a showdown with Pacquiao will be at a different level.

Pacquiao vs. Crawford?

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, who promotes the Omaha-born boxer along with "Pacman," is clearly impressed on Crawford after he stopped Dierry Jean on Oct. 2 in Nebraska during the 10th round to capture the vacant WBO super lightweight title, Boxing Scene informed.

Arum observed that the unbeaten champ has delivered a great performance involving "a lot of skill, a lot of smarts and a lot of patience," making him ripe for battle against Pacquiao, another Boxing Scene report noted.

Meanwhile, Crawford's manager Cameron Dunkin still thinks that they have an edge over the 36-year-old veteran boxer.

"Does Manny want to deal with this young, strong kid?" Dunkin told The Sweet Science.

Nevertheless, Crawford's camp is still willing to have a shot against the elite warrior. However, they are also prepared to move on in case they will not be given the opportunity to face him in 2016 for "Pacman's" farewell fight.
