This week a number of February films will be released on DVD and on demand. Among these films include Will Smith's latest "Focus," the animated film "Spongebob," the Wachowski siblings' "Jupiter Ascending" and Kristen Stewart's Sundance film "Camp X-Ray." These films will offer an alternative to "Entourage," "Spy" and the horror flick "Insidious 3."
"Focus" won the box office but underperformed while "Kingsman: The Secret Service" and "The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water" continued to play solidly.

Diana Maria Riva speaks with Latin Post about working on "McFarland USA" and what needs to change in order for Latin American women to get better representation in the mainstream
After a record breaking Valentine's Day Weekend, Hollywood will release three mid-sized films that will compete with the Oscars for exposure. Among these films are three Latino films from three different countries.

It's been a pivotal year for 18-year-old actor Johnny Ortiz, who has landed roles in ABC's "American Crime," created and executive produced by Oscar winner John Ridley ("12 Years a Slave") as well as Disney's "McFarland, USA," alongside Kevin Costner and Carlos Pratts, among others.
Colombian rock star Juanes has been added to the 2015 Grammy Awards line-up and will perform the first Spanish-language, original Latin music song performance in the last ten years at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
Colombian rock star Juanes is once again celebrating the unity and "togetherness" of people, but this time it's not for his fellow Colombians, but for his fellow Latinos in McFarland, California in his new music video exclusively for the movie.
With such films as "Spare Parts," "Gloria," "Wild Tales" and "McFarland USA" on the horizon, 2015 looks primed to be another year where Latin American cinema gets its rightful place alongside more mainstream fare. But is Latino cinema slated to be a big box office success?
