According to Games Radar, Activision and Sledgehammer Studio Game developer Glen Schofield has officially stated that the series would be going back to its roots. In a reply to a fan, the developer has stated that the new "Call of Duty" 2017 will make gamers go nuts. While this makes many fans skeptical, fans can remain hopeful as the developer is confident that taking the series back to its roots will generate great critical acclaim, Unilad has learned.
Although still unconfirmed about the setting of the upcoming "Call of Duty" 2017, it can be concluded that Sledgehammer Games would want to deliver something that triumphs over the less critically acclaimed "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare", which took the series to outer space. The "Call of Duty" game franchise has been popular around the world for its action packed fast paced gun fights, with a couple of set piece film like sequences that make the game visually appealing to gamers. The series started with its take on World War II.
As of this moment, there are still more than nine months until the official release of the new "Call of Duty" 2017. The first look of the newest game can be had during its reveal trailer, which would come a few months before the official release.
"Call of Duty" is a first-person shooter video game franchise. The series began on Microsoft Windows, and later expanded to game consoles and handheld devices.
