The much awaited release of the PlayStation 4 is only a few days, and guess what? So is Black Friday. With people going on crazy shopping sprees during this annual mega weekend sale, many are anticipating big discounts for the newest Sony gaming console.
Walmart, who hosted the EBT shopping spree this past weekend after a technical glitch caused Food Stamp recipients’ cards to temporarily become limit-free, are on the hook for all of the food that they attempted to bill to the government/Louisiana tax payers.
The Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) system suffered glitches in Louisiana, causing a community of food stamp recipients to rush to Walmart in order to take advantage of “limitless” spending on their EBT cards, which usually has finite limits, depending on the recipient’s income.
As usual, Walmart is trying to outdo its competitors with surprisingly low prices. Their latest target is Apple's iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, which will be released Sept. 20.
