WWE SmackDown Results, Spoilers for June 16, 2016: Big 'Money in the Bank' Main Event on Thursday
"WWE SmackDown" taped its final episode before "WWE Money in the Bank," and the episode definitely focus on the Money in the Bank ladder match.
The Highlight Reel Opens
Chris Jericho opens the show with "The Highlight Reel." His guest is Dean Ambrose, but then there's a series of interruptions by fellow Money in the Bank ladder match participants, so, fans will see Kevin Owens, Alberto Del Rio, Cesaro and Sami Zayn appear in the opening segment. A six-man tag-team match is announced for the show's main event.
Tag Team Feuds
Ahead of the fatal-four-way match for the WWE Tag Team Championship at "Money in the Bank, one member of each participating team had their own fatal-four-way match. It was Aiden English vs. Big Cass vs. Luke Gallows vs. Kofi Kingston. It was a win for New Day's Kingston, which is good following his loss on "Monday Night Raw." But the night wasn't over for New Day.

Backstage, WWE Women's Champion Charlotte and Dana Brooke met with Becky Lynch and Natalya, all four will have a tag-team match at "Money in the Bank." Later on in the show, Charlotte would defeat Natalya in a non-title match.
In the ring, Baron Corbin defeated Zack Ryder, while Dolph Ziggler was on commentary.
Also, WWE United States Champion Rusev defeated Kalisto. After the match, Sin Cara stepped in to stop Rusev, but the Lucha Dragon member was beat down by Rusev. Titus O'Neil made the save for the Lucha Dragons.
Stylin' Woods
Back in the backstage area, The Club met with WWE Tag Team Champions New Day to set up the next match: AJ Styles vs. Xavier Woods. In the ring, Styles defeated Woods via submission.
Main Event Time
All six men of the Money in the Bank ladder match fought in the main event: Ambrose, Cesaro and Zayn vs. Del Rio, Jericho and Owens. Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Owens for the victory.
"WWE SmackDown" airs weekly on Thursday on the USA Network at 8 p.m. EDT.
