Alex Rodriguez has no ill will towards his former girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, after she married Ben Affleck in Las Vegas over the weekend.

A source revealed to Us Weekly on Monday the former baseball superstar is "happy" about Lopez and Affleck's private matrimony, claiming that the "Let's Get Loud" singer is now with the person "she's meant to be with."

The insider also revealed that Rodriguez saw the news about the singer and the actor tied the knot in Las Vegas, claiming that the former MLB player "went about his business."

"He's made peace with how things ended... He respects her and truly wishes her nothing but the best," the source added.

The source also shared the current state of Rodriguez's heart, arguing that the athlete is in a new relationship and is also happy.

"He's traveling all over and living his best life. He's really focused on family, his career, and what he's got going on," the insider emphasized.

Alex Rodriguez and Jenifer Lopez's History

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez began dating in February 2017. However, the duo decided to go their separate ways in 2021, two years after they were engaged.

When they were together, Rodriguez and Lopez were often seen in the company of their children from their previous relationships.

Days before Lopez and Affleck married, Rodriguez said in an interview with Martha Stewart that he has no regrets about the time he spent with the singer, contending that they had a great time.

Rodriguez also praised the Latina performer, claiming that Lopez was the "most talented" human being he spent time around and also the hardest worker. He also noted that he thinks Lopez is the greatest performer alive today.

He also shared that after his breakup with the star, he has "never been healthier, happier, and more grateful."

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's Wedding

Rodriguez's true feelings were revealed after Lopez and Affleck had a low-key wedding in Las Vegas over the weekend.

The Latina pop diva confirmed her nuptials on her website and newsletter "On the JLO" on Sunday, where she also posted snaps of how she looked during their wedding. A photo uploaded on her website also showed that their kids were present as witnesses at their wedding.

The "Dance Again" singer said they wed just after midnight at A Little White Wedding Chapel. The said venue is known to boast a drive-through "tunnel of love."

"We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient," Lopez said in her newsletter.

The "Ain't Your Mama" singer also noted that they originally wanted to have Elvis Presley officiate their matrimony, but he was not available during their special day. That issue did not also stop them from exchanging their vows.

Court records obtained by TMZ revealed that Lopez and Affleck got their marriage license in Clark County, Nevada.
