Week 4 of the 2014 NFL season is here already, and it's been exciting for football fans.

One of the most anticipated games of the weekend will be between the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers.

Both of these teams made the postseason last year, so expectations are running high this season from fans.

Philadelphia Eagles (3-0)

The City of Brotherly Love hasn't seen their football team win an NFL Championship since 1960, but this team is looking great under head coach Chip Kelly. This offense gets plays off extremely fast, similar to the '90s Buffalo Bills with Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas.

The Eagles are a perfect 3-0 with wins over the Washington Redskins, Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars. This team has trailed by 10 points in every game so far, but the Eagles have been by far the best second half team in the NFL.

Quarterback Nick Foles leads the team with six touchdowns and two interceptions. Surprisingly, running back LeSean McCoy isn't off to a great start with just a 2.9 yards per carry average and one touchdown so far. Darren Sproles has filled that void, as he has been one of the best running backs in the league after three weeks.

Although the Eagles are 3-0, their pass defense hasn't been very impressive, and this will be their first West Coast game of the season.

San Francisco 49ers (1-2)

It's still early, but sitting on the bottom of the NFC East is the San Francisco 49ers. Jim Harbaugh has been the head coach of the 49ers for three seasons, and all three years the team has made it to the NFC Championship. In the 2012 season, his 49ers made it to the Super Bowl, but lost to the Baltimore Ravens.

Unfortunately for 49ers fans, their team is 1-2. After a Week 1 victory against the Dallas Cowboys, the 49ers have lost their last two games against the Chicago Bears and the Arizona Cardinals. Opposite of the Eagles, the 49ers have been the worst second half team so far this year. The 49ers haven't scored a single touchdown in the second half thus far.

Time for panic in the Bay Area? Not just yet. Let's remember the 49ers were 1-2 to start off last season as well. This will be a much tougher task because of injuries and suspensions, but the 49ers have shown they can overcome. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick has to stop turning over the ball and running back Frank Gore needs more carries.

Where & When to Watch

The Eagles will travel to Santa Clara, California to take on the 49ers at Levi's Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. EST on Sunday with coverage on FOX.

Predictions

The Eagles have obviously been the better team so far, and their record shows that. The 49ers play in a tough NFC West, and this game is a must-win. Home field advantage will play a factor with the 49ers victorious in the end.

49ers win 27-24.
