Ruby Rose and Phoebe Dahl have decided to split and call of their engagement.

The 29-year-old "Orange Is the New Black" star and the 27-year-old fashion designer announced their engagement back in March 2014 but have now called it quits after two years of dating, according to Us Weekly.

"While we still love each other and support each other in every way, it is our mutual decision to part ways," Dahl said in a statement. "Our break is not the result of any media speculation, and we want nothing but the best for each other. Thank you for respecting our privacy in this very difficult time."

Both women have shared well wishes to one another through social media.

"@RubyRose you have brought me to my best and I will always love you," Dahl posted from her Faircloth & Supply Twitter account. " I can't wait to see what the future brings for us."

"@FAIRCLOTHSUPPLY remains very dear to my heart. I will forever treasure our time together," Rose wrote on Twitter. "I'm a better person because of all we shared."

Dahl and Rose met at a barbecue thrown by Dahl and were engaged about three months later. Rose shared the couple's engagement story last year on Instagram, saying after Dahl rejected her proposal three times she surprised Rose.

"After asking her to be mine 3 times always to be rejected I swore I'd never ask again," Rose captioned a photo on the social media site. "Then this morning at 6 am she broke into my house with flowers, coffee and a question."

This past summer Rose made headlines after speaking out about her gender fluidity.

Dahl is the granddaughter of children's author Roald Dahl. She launched the charitable clothing line Faircloth & Supply last year. For every garment sold from her clothing line, a school uniform is donated to a girl in Nepal.
