This month, Jennifer Lopez kicks off her highly anticipated residency, "Jennifer Lopez: All I Have," at the AXIS Theater in the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Fans of one of the world's most popular Latinas can see the star take the stage on various dates starting on Jan. 20 until June 12.

Below are just a few of the things that the superstar will bring with her to Vegas and probably make her residency the one to beat.

Hit After Hit

For an artist with a career that now spans over 20 years, fans are sure to get nostalgic listening to Lopez perform songs from her musical debut "On the 6," such as "Lets Get Loud," "If You Had My Love" and "Waiting For Tonight.

Lopez wouldn't be the entertainment icon she is today without the album that made her J.Lo and best evokes the Bronx vibe she loves to bring on stage. The Latina is sure to break out to "Love Don't Cost A Thing," "I'm Real," "Play" and "Ain't It Funny."

However, along with some of her more recent tunes, fans can expect to hear Lopez perform a few other hit songs from the likes of music icons like Selena Quintanilla.

"I want the show to be always changing, so it's a unique experience every time -- one night a Selena song and another maybe something by Diana Ross," she told Ocean Drive magazine.

Flashy Costumes

Lopez is a fashion icon. Her choice of clothing on the red carpet is always a hot topic and her looks on the Vegas stage won't be any different. Lopez's stage looks vary from sporty styles, to sexy leotards to dramatic ball gowns. The singer is never shy about showing off skin or getting into character.

While she hasn't revealed any names, the star's looks on stage will come courtesy of a variety of people.

"I'm working with a lot of different people as far as costume and costume design goes. I want it to be an extravaganza. I want it to be something really where people are like, 'Oh my God, you have to see the costumes!..." she told E! Online.

Knockout Dance Routines

Lopez has always been and continues to prove she is a dancer at heart. The superstar, who began her career as a dancer on "In Living Color," is sure to wow the crowd with long dance routines that mimic what fans saw when she opened the show at the 2015 American Music Awards.

"I started as a dancer, so I have an eye for it. I've done it my whole life," Lopez told Ocean Drive.

"Sometimes other people -- the music department or my management -- might like a person, but I'm, like, 'Oh, they're a little bit weak in this part; there's not enough technique.' They're bringing the story to life, so they're an integral part of the show, acting a little bit, even," she added.

Plenty of Stunts

If you've ever seen Miss Lopez perform you will know that it isn't just dancing that makes her a strong entertainer but her on-stage tricks and stage production.

The star may use a stunt double on "Shades of Blue" or on her various films, but when on stage she performs some risky moves, including jumping off platforms, swinging from dancers on pedestals and performing from high places.

Latino Guest Stars

Lopez has had her share of musical collaborations over the years and many have been with Latino artists.

The star and Cuban rapper Pitbull have collaborated over four times in the last three years, on songs like "Live it Up," "On The Floor," "Booty" and on Prince Royce's "Back It Up." The star was featured on reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel's song "Follow The Leader" and her latest collaboration includes being featured on Spanish artist Alvaro Soler's song "El Mismo Sol."

The star may use these collaborations to show off her Latino roots and bring something new to the table that her competition, Britney Spears, Shania Twain, Celine Dion and Cher, haven't showcased.
