If rumors are correct, Grand Theft Auto Online player may eventually be able to fly around Los Santos with the help of a jetpack.

Recently, a user named Chr0m3 x MoDz posted a topic called "GTA V Confirmed Jet Pack & Skiing" on the Se7en Sins forum.

"Now I know a lot of people are going to say it's deprecated and old but I will stop you there as this actually hasn't appeared until 1.12," the user wrote in the thread. "I found a string in the xex called 'JETPACK' it hasn't been there at all until now here is proof."

Take the news with a grain of salt, however, because not even the poster is positive about what this means for Rockstar Games' online version of Grand Theft Auto V.

"I'm honestly not sure what this means as to whether Rockstar has used old code (Really doubt) or whether a DLC is incoming," Chr0m3 x MoDz continued. "I personally think DLC."

Some, on the other hand, think that the codes are old and were tossed away during Grand Theft Auto Online's development process, but the Se7en Sins poster insists that the codes are at least as new as the 1.12 patch. The gamer also includes video to coincide with the argument.

Grand Theft Auto users have been enjoyed jetpacks in the past; the device is usable in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Meanwhile, Grand Theft Auto Online fans are still waiting for Rockstar Games to implement some more changes, namely debuting its Heists and The High Life updates. The High Life update will feature new ways to live lavishly with new apartment decor, clothing, the Bullpup Rifle and new Jobs. It will also add three new vehicles and the Dink Thrust motorcycle to the game. Both updates lack a release date beyond "this spring."

"For those asking about other spring updates, we'll have more info on the High Life update and Heists coming soon, stay tuned," Rockstar Games said early this month.
