Rockstar Games sure knows how to keep players in suspense. Recently, the game developer released news about "Grand Theft Auto Online," but unfortunately for gamers, questions still remain.

This week, Rockstar Games announced that its highly anticipated High Life update will be released this May. They conveniently left out, however, when exactly during the month the new features will become playable. The High Lifeupdate will feature new ways to live lavishly with new apartment decor, clothing, the Bullpup Rifle and new Jobs. It will also add three new vehicles and the Dink Thrust motorcycle to the game.

Meanwhile, the "Grand Theft Auto Online" Heists update still lacks a release date beyond "this spring."

Until more is revealed, gamers can hopefully keep busy with Rockstar Games' current GTA$ and Double RP promotion.

"All jobs and activities in 'GTA Online' will earn you twice as much GTA$ and RP, including Races, Deathmatch & Team Deathmatch, Capture, Last Team Standing, Survival, Missions, Parachuting, Gang Attacks, Hold Ups, Import Export, Losing Wanted Level," Rockstar Games explained via its Newswire page.

Interested gamers should log in quickly because the promotion ends tonight at midnight Eastern.

What else is in store for "Grand Theft Auto Online?" Rumor has it that jet packs and skis could be under development for the Web version of "Grand Theft Auto V."

"Now I know a lot of people are going to say it's deprecated and old, but I will stop you there as this actually hasn't appeared until 1.12," a user wrote on the Se7en Sins forum. "I found a string in the xex called 'JETPACK' it hasn't been there at all until now here is proof."

It's hard to bet on whether or not the rumor is true, but either way we can assume that Rockstar Games will remain secretive about this and any other developments until release time.
